Monogamey (“we”, “us”) is operated by [Legal Entity Name], based in India. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. We are committed to data minimisation and we never sell your personal data.

Information we collect

• Account: phone number and/or email, and Google account identifier if you sign in with Google.
• Profile: name, age, gender, bio, prompt answers, photos, optional voice intro, city and approximate location, and your preferences.
• Usage: matches, decisions, messages, and in-app activity needed to run the service.
• Device: push notification tokens and basic device/platform info.
• Payments: in-app purchases are processed by Apple and Google through their app stores. We receive a confirmation and reference id — we never see or store your card, UPI, or bank details.

How we use it

• To create your profile, surface one curated match at a time, and enable messaging.
• Safety & moderation: photos are screened for unsafe content; we act on reports and blocks.
• To take and refund payments for pay-to-keep and related features.
• To send you notifications and emails about your matches and payments, and (where permitted) offers.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers needed to run Monogamey, each handling data on our behalf:

• AWS (photo/voice storage and moderation), our managed database, and Cloudflare (delivery/CDN).
• Apple / Google (in-app payments), Firebase/Google (sign-in & OTP), Expo (push), Brevo (email), Sentry (error monitoring).

We may disclose information if required by law. We do not sell your personal data.

Retention & your rights

You can export or delete your account at any time from in-app Settings. On deletion we remove your profile and personal data, retaining only what law or fraud/financial-record obligations require. You may also access, correct, or restrict processing of your data, and withdraw consent, by contacting us below.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS). Access is restricted and credentials are protected. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your information.

Children

Monogamey is strictly for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

We process personal data in accordance with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. For grievances regarding your data, contact our Grievance Officer at privacy@monogamey.com.
