Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Monogamey, operated by [Legal Entity Name] (India). By creating an account you agree to them.
1. Eligibility
You must be 18 or older and legally able to enter a contract. One account per person; keep your information accurate.
2. How Monogamey works
We surface one curated match at a time. When you both say yes, a 24-to-48-hour window opens to confirm the match by payment. We do not guarantee matches, dates, or outcomes.
3. Payments & refunds
- Pay-to-keep: each person confirms within 24 to 48 hours of matching. If both pay, the match unlocks. If only one pays, the payer is automatically refunded within ~1 hour and the match dissolves. If neither pays, the match dissolves and no one is charged.
- First match free may apply to launch members; where it applies, no payment is taken.
- Skip-the-line is a one-time, non-refundable purchase that moves you up the waitlist.
- In-app purchases are processed by Apple and Google through their app stores. Prices include applicable taxes unless stated. We may change prices prospectively.
4. Your conduct
You agree to be respectful and lawful. You will not harass, impersonate, solicit, post unsafe or illegal content, or use the app for anything other than genuine dating. Violations may lead to removal without refund.
5. Safety
We screen photos and act on reports and blocks, but we do not conduct background checks and are not responsible for the conduct of other users. Meet in public, tell a friend, and trust your instincts. Use the in-app report and block tools whenever you feel unsafe.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of your photos and profile content, and grant us a limited licence to host and display them within the app to operate the service. You are responsible for the content you upload.
7. Termination
You may delete your account anytime in Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or pose a safety risk.
8. Disclaimers & liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding three months.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the competent courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
